Engine sub frame

Engine, radiator, alternator, air compressor and main traction generator mounts to a sub frame which is then lowered into the locomotive a lot of custom parts were made to suit the requirements to run the engine but to also fit it all within the body panels even the starter motor was heavily modified to fit it in a custom stainless steel muffler was designed tested and fitted as well oil filter relocated and fuel pump removed and replaced by a electric one.
